Sitting on the front porch Ice cream in my hand Melting in the sun All that chocolate on my tongue And that's a good enough reason to live Good enough reason to live Sitting in the bathtub Hifi playing low Digging all that green Well you must know what I mean And that's a good enough reason to live Good enough reason for me If I die young At least I got some chocolate on my tongue Sitting in the front seat Good girl in my arms Smiling in my eyes Making me all hypnotized And that's a good enough reason to live Good enough reason for me If I die young At least I got some chocolate on my tongue

There was a time in the days of lore When once a hamster swam to shore He hit the sand and shook the drops From his shaggy mane and his mutton chops He looked around at what he'd seen It was paradise and patch of green Hamsters here hamsters there And not a single hamster care Amigo Hamster Garden The sun was bright and the food was plenty The hamster babes were awful pretty He soon forgot his old home With the hamster kibbles and the hamster loans The long hard nights on the wheel White lab coats so surreal Now he'd light a match and the water would boil And the sawdust turned to fertile soil Amigo Hamster Garden There was hamster Juan from hamster Spain Hamster-farians smoking Mary Jane Hillbilly hamsters high class too Hamster Muslims hamster jews They got along ne'er a fight A good free life is a hamsters' right They worked real hard and they tilled the land And they held each others little hamster hands Amigo Hamster Garden But on some dark nights he'd lie awake Dreaming of the hamster hell that he escaped They tested him thrice a day Shampooing his little hamster mane Never as soft as their desire His pink skin burned like a forest fire But then he looks to the stars above And feels tremendous gratitude for hamster love Because to his left a little hamster darling The sweetest of the amigo harden Amigo Hamster Garden

Hymn #101 05:56
And I've come to know the wish list of my father I've come to know the shipwrecks where he's been I've come to wish aloud Among the overdressed crowd Come to witness now the sinking of this ship Throwing pennies from the sea top next to it And I've come to roam the forest Past the village With a dozen lazy horses in my cart I've come here to get high To do more than just get by I've come to test the timber of my heart Oh I've come to test the timber of my heart And I've come To be untroubled in my seeking And I've come To see that nothing is for not I've come to reach out blind To reach forward and behind For the more I seek The more I'm sought Yea the more I seek The more I'm sought And I've come to meet the sheriff and his posse To offer him the broad side of my jaw I've come here to get broke And then maybe bum a smoke We'll go drinking two towns over after all Oh we'll go drinking two towns over after all And I've come to meet the legendary takers I've only come to ask them for a lot They say I come with less Than I should rightfully possess I say, the more I buy The more I'm bought And the more I'm bought The less I cost And I've come To take their servants and their surplus And I've come To take their rain coats and their speed I've come to get my fill To ransack and spill I've come to take the harvest for the seed I've come to take the harvest for the seed And I've come to know the manger that you sleep in I've come to be the stranger that you keep I've come from down the road And my footsteps never slowed Before we met I knew we'd meet Before we met I knew we'd meet And I've come here to ignore you cries and heartaches I've come to closely listen to you sing I've come here to insist That I leave here with a kiss I've come to say exactly what I mean And I mean so many things And you've come To know me stubborn as a butcher And you've come To know me thankless as a guest But will you recognize my face When god's awful grace Strips me of my jacket and my vest And reveals all the treasure in my chest

Gatorade 02:57
The day I learned how to walk I had a sinful soul The day I learned how to walk Was the day I learned to fall Barred white fences Shadows from city trees The toils of a sweaty suburban white dude With sodium deficiencies At five I found Jesus At ten the devil above At twelve an orange capped bottle And at twelve I found love Gatorade Gatorade You must be heaven made Lemon lime and blue cascade I’ll drown in Gatorade I met you on the darkest night The darkest night in years I met you on the darkest night And I left you in tears At five I found Jesus At ten the devil above At twelve an orange capped bottle And at twelve I found love Gatorade Gatorade You must be heaven made Lemon lime and blue cascade I’ll drown in Gatorade Powerade you’re really lame All your flavors taste the same Sour melon and grape You suck Powerade Gatorade Gatorade You must be heaven made Lemon lime and blue cascade I’ll drown in Gatorade

about

The phrase “Amigo Hamster Garden” comes from a misunderstanding around a campfire at night on a hillside somewhere between Futaleufú and Puerto Ramirez, Chile. It became a song on a front porch on that very same hillside. It became a credo for a small group of international river runners who make their summer nests around that hillside. The credo is something along the lines of, "hand in hand – hamster, human, habitat, harmony."

One December day in 2019 it became a goofy collection of 10 songs by a guy that sort of lives in Bend, OR. The alternate title for the collection was: "Greatest Hits."

This collection will not be found on any streaming service, but hopefully will be found beside streams. Physical copies can be purchased at any show advertised under the name, “Jenner Fox."

Other things you should know:
* A Chucao is a small bird found in Central Chile and Argentina, notable for sticking around longer than other birds.
* Poncho, when pronounced “Paaancho,” actually means hot dog.
* Jenner feels 90% confident about the words sung in Spanish.
* You are loved. Thank you for listening.

about

Jenner Fox Sisters, Oregon

There is something that happens inside a good song. A tootsie roll can take you back to your elementary school playground; the voice of a toothless refrigerator man reminds you to say “I love you.” Jenner Fox tells the stories of people and places with unparalleled compassion and respect. His artful tone, poetry, and fluency on his guitar do something only the brave ones do: let us in. ... more
